Description & Requirements
The Performance Improvement Healthcare Consulting team helps healthcare organizations achieve sustainable results by addressing margin erosion through targeted improvement strategies. By aligning strategic, operational, and financial initiatives, they identify opportunities and support leadership in implementing impactful changes. With a focus on strengthening margins, the team empowers providers to fulfill their mission and thrive in today's evolving healthcare environment.
What You Will Do:
  • Assist with developing pharmacy strategy, business plan, and pharmacy processes
    • Specialty pharmacy strategy
    • Set up of entity-owned pharmacies
    • Evaluate onsite pharmacies at entities
    • Evaluate entity formularies for opportunities
    • Assess pharmacy spending and quality outcomes
    • Pharmacy benefit manager
    • Payer contracting for pharmacy
    • Pharmacy billing and pricing
  • Provide guidance to clients regarding their 340B and other pharmacy operations:
    • Operational Assistance
      • Split-billing vendor implementations
      • Split-billing vendor maintenance i.e., Drug Crosswalk Maintenance
    • Compliance Reviews
      • Independent Reviews
      • HRSA Audit Experience a plus
  • Develop and expand 340B networks, including contract pharmacies, child sites, direct purchases, orphan drugs, and other strategic opportunities.
  • Lead 340B financial reporting and compliance initiatives.
  • Advise and present to stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite, management, and pharmacy teams.
  • Deliver expert process guidance and leadership to clients.
  • Ensure exceptional client experiences while identifying value-added service opportunities.
  • Actively engage in key healthcare industry groups (e.g., Becker's, Apexus, 340B Health, HFMA).
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Pharmacy, Technology, Health Services Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant healthcare experience in healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical industry, or hospital environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Prior Consulting experience
  • Data visualization experience in PowerBI or Tableau
