| Summary |
Provides administrative support in the Office of Honors and Undergraduate Research and assists with day-to-day operations. Helps to promote and coordinate unit programs and events. Assists with the development and maintenance of program and office promotional materials. |
| Essential Role Responsibilities |
- Honors Inbox monitoring
- Information dissemination (e.g., event sign-ups, Canvas Monday Mashups/opportunity postings/materials and end of semester reflection updates)
- Data gathering/analysis (e.g., cohort program requirements)
- Instagram oversight/approvals
- Cohort management phone calls
- Event sign-ins
- Honors contract management
- Attends editorial team meetings for the Journal for Research in Progress
- Interacts with students/visitors to answer questions and provide information
- Provides administrative support for special Honors and Undergraduate Research projects
- Other duties as assigned

Associate's degree |
| Experience Required |
* Associates of Arts degree in education, sociology, business or related field and two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience related to administration required.
* Exceptional organizational skills.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and similar software applications
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to prioritize and effectively work on concurrent projects and tasks.
* Ability to use own initiative to identify and deal with issues as they arise.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Regular attendance is a requirement of this job.
* Performs all duties while considering the impact of any actions on the college's sustainability initiatives in the areas of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic prosperity. |
