As a Security Officer Credential Checkpoint in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced distribution location where you will manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents. In this role, you will support site operations through professional communication, strong customer service, and a visible presence. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, loading zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing vehicle movement, documenting deliveries and pickups, and reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
