__ JOB SUMMARY Provides production and workshop support in the rubber molding facility. Repairs, maintains, and supports molding equipment, molds, and tooling while handling materials and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Maintain Safe, Clean, and Organized Workspace - Apply safety rules, use PPE, and maintain 5S standards. - Report unsafe conditions promptly. 2. Execute Workshop and Production Tasks - Perform troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and testing of equipment and molds. - Handle and stage materials to keep production running. 3. Maintain Equipment and Tooling - Clean, inspect, and perform basic and intermediate maintenance on molds, tooling, and equipment. - Operate material handling equipment safely (forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks). 4. Drive Continuous Improvement - Identify improvement opportunities and contribute solutions. - Support quality and reliability problem resolution. Your background
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience with material handling or production support equipment preferred.
- Proficient with forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes (certifications required for certain equipment).
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production procedures, and shop-floor equipment.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring devices.
- Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and production systems.
- Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and commitment to following procedures.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting heavy materials, collaborating in a team, adapting to production needs, and escalating issues when needed.
While hourly pay rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay starting at $26 - $32 USDincluding $1 USD shift differential. 2nd shift hours are 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Monday - Friday Go to myBenefitsABB.comand click on "Candidate/Guest" to learn more Health, Life & Disability
