Sales Trainee - Packaging

Learn the Business & the Industry

• Develop a thorough understanding of company products, sales processes, policies, and procedures.
• Learn how manufacturing operations, purchasing, shipping, and receiving support the sales cycle.
• Apply business math concepts to real manufacturing and sales scenarios.

Gain Hands-On Sales Experience

• Travel with Account Managers to customer sites and gain exposure to live sales interactions.
• Make sales calls to current and prospective customers with guidance and coaching.
• Assist with customer service inquiries, helping to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships that support long-term success.

Develop Technical & Business Skills

• Learn and use UFPI business systems, CRM tools, and sales applications.
• Accurately enter customer orders and assist with sales documentation.
• Prepare reports and summaries for supervisors and management.
• Use Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word to stay organized and communicate effectively.

Grow Professionally

• Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and develop timemanagement skills.
• Plan and participate in meetings, ensuring materials and participants are prepared.
• Travel to other facilities as part of best-practice training and professional development.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills-both verbal and written
• A willingness to learn, travel, and step outside your comfort zone
