TITLE: HR Administrator II
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Ensure positive employee relations by proactive employee communication. Serve as an internal resource for employee inquiries. Direct employees as necessary to the appropriate resource. Assist managers with actions in HR system (schedules, timesheets, etc.). Process special time away from work requests such as jury duty and bereavement leave.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of human resources or timekeeping experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently.
- Ability to deliver and execute high-quality and consistent Human Resources processes and services.
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with all departments, and management levels within the company.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent typing skills, including proper spelling and grammar.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail required.
- Ability to use general office equipment.
- Ability to adapt to and learn new software.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
- Professional appearance and manners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for accurate, complete and timely employee data updates through data entry, completion of the appropriate forms, and HRIS transactions. Updates may relate to new hires, terminations, employee job changes, leave activity, department or work location changes, changes in pay, etc.
- Maintain accurate hourly employee time and attendance records to ensure accurate payroll data is processed for the payroll during the defined pay period cycle(s). Follow all established wage and hour compliance controls and corporate governance requirements.
- Assist with on-boarding and recruiting activities.
- Assist with unemployment claim requests and assist with Child Support Orders & Garnishments.
- Track and submit employee referral bonuses.
- Assist with password resets and MFA support, swiftly address access issues while upholding security standards.
- Assist with events focused on employee recognition.
- Maintain records within HRIS and manual filing systems.
- Provide general information and assistance internally and externally over the phone, electronically, and in person.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical HR practices to foster trust and compliance within the organization.
- Administer exit interviews and provide management with appropriate feedback.
- Support internal and external compliance audits.
- Ability to backup other HR staff members when needed.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Primarily an office environment with occasional visits to the production floor as needed for employee interactions, training, and other workplace matters.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Lifting or moving up to 10 lbs. may be required.
