ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sealants Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of building sealants projects from planning through completion. This role manages project budgets, schedules, procurement, and field coordination to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for project execution and works closely with field supervisors, clients, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Salary range $85,000 - $115,000, based on location and experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Oversee overall project profitability, scheduling, and execution for sealants projects
  • Develop and maintain production schedules and project tracking metrics
  • Manage job costs and coordinate with field supervisors on project progress
  • Interpret blueprints and develop project sequencing and execution plans
  • Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely availability for field operations
  • Attend jobsite meetings with owners, architects, and project stakeholders
  • Support estimating and project bid preparation as needed
  • Coordinate internal job setup with accounting and administrative teams
  • Track, manage, and follow up on RFIs, change orders, billing, and project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and project standards


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is a driven and detail-oriented project management professional with experience overseeing construction or sealant-related projects. They are highly organized, financially accountable, and skilled at managing schedules, budgets, and field coordination. This individual is a strong communicator and leader who builds effective relationships with field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE



  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
  • Experience managing construction or sealants-related projects preferred, including large and complex jobs
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic project management tools
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to manage field teams effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick, effective decisions
  • Understanding of job site safety requirements and best practices
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Valid driver's license with ability to safely operate a company vehicle
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needs.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas.
  • May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration.
