Inventory Lead- 2nd Shift

In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting and improving supply chain capabilities to support business growth. This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory, executing best practices, and driving continuous improvement across warehouse operations

Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  Execute and support monthly inventory counts to ensure accuracy and compliance

  
  
• 
  

  Perform cycle counting activities and maintain accurate inventory records

  
  
• 
  

  Support and participate in Annual Accounting Audits, including preparation and follow-up actions

  
  
• 
  

  Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with root cause analysis to resolve variances

  
  
• 
  

  Follow and reinforce FIFO practices, supporting proper putaway and picking processes

  
  
• 
  

  Identify and assist in removing materials that are past code date

  
  
• 
  

  Support root cause analysis and process improvements related to expiring or obsolete inventory

  
  
• 
  

  Monitor inventory movement and provide input on layout improvements to increase efficiency, including use of the Logistics Heat Mapping Tool

  
  
• 
  

  Assist with implementation and use of inventory systems and scanning technologies to improve tracking accuracy

  
  
• 
  

  Partner with Logistics and Inventory Control leadership to support development and documentation of inventory processes and programs

  
  
• 
  

  Provide training support, including onboarding and refresher training, to maintain inventory accuracy standards

  Support daily inventory-related activities and continuous improvement efforts

  
  
• 
  

  Perform other duties as assigned

  
  

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Excel for inventory tracking, data analysis, and reporting
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to support and guide peers
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency; able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
