Job Title: Product Introduction (PI) Technician
Location: Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: 8-month contract with opportunity of extension or permanent hire
Industry: Transportation Manufacturing
Compensation: $30-33/hour base pay plus a shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shift hours worked
Schedule: M-F, Rotational Schedule
  • Must be able to work at least 11:00 AM-7:30 PM
  • Must have flexibility with shifts as well
  • Overtime is often available (voluntary)
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking qualified candidates for a PI Technician role for the commissioning of a new transportation project in Atlanta. These PI Technicians will be carrying out the testing of train cars, troubleshooting them, and implementing design modifications.

What You'll Do:
  • Implement testing procedures on train car projects
  • Ensure that all Serial Test Procedures are covered and the completion of test reports
  • Manage the repair of failures as soon as they appear.
  • Trace with precision and rigor each failure.
  • In case of unsolved deviations, escalate to the Vehicle Lead Engineer
  • Implement design modifications on cars as per Field Modification instructions
  • Propose improvement of the process.
  • Collaborate with your team and other teams to work toward a common goal
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and modifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with electronics and mechanical technician work
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience utilizing the Microsoft Office suite (Excel & Word) for data entry and tracking
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience in the transportation industry
  • Strong communication skills, including proven ability to collaborate with multiple teams internally
  • Problem-solving and efficient decision-making skills
  • Experience working with electrical equipment such as (DMM) oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Experience working with high voltages (AC and DC) such as 750VDC or 11KV AC
  • Ability to troubleshoot to equipment level
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Will be required to obtain clearance to work at the Atlanta Airport
  • Walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, and working from heights may be required
  • Position will require a minimum of 60% night shift work in 2026
