The successful candidate will Lead the nVent Foundation and help evolve and grow our philanthropic strategy. This role is a phenomenal fit for someone who enjoys planning and accomplishing strategies to drive foundation growth, engaging with a variety of people, and working in a team environment. Reporting to the Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer, this role will collaborate with all levels of the organization. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Lead the strategic direction, operational plan and report the outcomes and progress to the nVent Foundation Board of Directors and other key collaborators. Develop and champion global employee volunteer and giving activities and drive opportunities to grow in these areas. Establish and maintain effective relationships with nVent leadership, employees, and other collaborators and represent the foundation in various internal and external forums and events. Oversee and ensure the integrity of the grantmaking process, review proposals, conduct due diligence and site visits, approve grant disbursal and evaluate outcomes/impact Develop and implement an nVent foundation communication and advocacy strategy. Conduct and facilitate research, bringing in guidelines and innovation that support the achievement of the foundation's strategic goals. Manage the governance of the nVent Foundation and ensure compliance with private foundation laws, including annual budget and tax filings. Partner with internal teams such as communications, talent acquisition, and branding to drive outcomes. Lead and participate in various networks, coalitions and collaborations with other foundations, nonprofits to advance our corporate philanthropy efforts. Manage strategic vendor relationships.
YOU HAVE:
5+ years in a corporate philanthropy management role, program management, or relevant experience. Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information. Experience in program/process design and implementation in a matrix environment. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and probable-solving skills, and the ability to use data and evidence to inform decision making and measure impact. Strong knowledge and understanding of the corporate philanthropy landscape, trends, challenges and opportunities including standard methodologies and legal/regulatory framework. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with diverse collaborators both internally and externally. Ability to lead volunteer teams and drive multiple priorities.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives. Benefit Overview At nVent, we value our people and their health and well-being.
