Fabrication Operator I Day Shift (7 am-7 pm) $18.25

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently searching for a Fabrication Operator I to be based in Weatherford, TX. Reporting to the Shift Lead, the Fabrication Operator will run various machines and saws in the area. The primary role is to use the machines to bend pipe by loading pipe into the machine and/or connecting pipe to the bender part of the machine. It is the operator's job to monitor the product's specs and quality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Runs various saws and machines in Fabrication
• Help load the pipe into the machine
• Stack finished products on pallets according to the packaging standard
• Band up pallet when complete
• Check the angle of the pipe on the angle table
• Cut boards to size for pipe packaging
• Has knowledge of safety procedures for each machine, E-Stops, pinch points, etc.
• Informs the Shift Lead of any possible safety infractions
• Informs forklift personnel or the Shift Lead when running low on Fab Stock to be cut
• Must check the cut length frequently for any deviation in the cut length specs
• Housekeeping is a must throughout the shift

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• A good understanding of basic math is required for quick and accurate counting and calculations
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
• Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands, and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
• Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $18.25 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
