Position description

University of California, Irvine - FACULTY POSITION IN ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

The Department of Chemistry of the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a tenured faculty position. We seek a colleague with a vigorous research program in Synthetic Organic Chemistry for appointment at the level of Associate Professor or Full Professor. Preference will be given to early-to-mid-career candidates. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field. Successful candidates will have a strong record of research achievement, enjoy national and international recognition for their scholarship, demonstrate excellent teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and show a strong commitment to service.
