Wieland is hiring a Inside Sales Manager. The Inside Sale Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a high performing team accountable for sales growth, margin improvement, and disciplined execution through clear expectations, data driven decision making, and performance accountability. This role combines hands on commercial leadership with strategic oversight to grow market share, profitability, and customer relationships, while partnering effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders with professionalism and ambition. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.



Responsibilities

Inside Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Inside Sales team, instilling Humble, Hungry, and Smart behaviors through a servant leadership mindset.
  • Coordinate team workload, priorities, and time off to ensure full coverage, continuity, and smooth daily operations.
  • Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability for all Inside Sales team members.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely sales, order, inventory, and customer data by enforcing disciplined documentation and file management standards.
  • Leverage CRM and ERP systems to drive visibility, forecasting accuracy, accountability, and disciplined customer management.
  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine the inside sales plan to meet or exceed revenue, margin, growth, and EBITDA targets.
  • Drive and manage a robust, forward-looking sales pipeline through new business development, account expansion, and proactive opportunity management.
  • Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to identify high value prospects and guide quoting, pricing, and prioritization decisions.
  • Actively participate in outbound sales activities including calls, virtual meetings, in person visits, and networking, modeling expected performance standards.
  • Lead account growth initiatives by identifying cross sell opportunities, new product applications, and long term strategic partnerships.
  • Manage key accounts directly while ensuring consistent order fulfillment, service execution, and customer satisfaction across the full team portfolio.
  • Achieve individual and team booking targets, maintain accurate order books, and ensure contracts remain within DSO guidelines in partnership with Finance.
  • Partner cross functionally with Outside Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to ensure alignment, accountability, and seamless execution.
  • Set and reinforce high standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and alignment with company values.
  • Lead structured and data driven team meetings to review goals, KPIs, pipeline health, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, coach, and develop Inside Sales Representatives with clear performance expectations and defined growth pathways.
  • Measure individual and team performance using data, implement corrective actions promptly, and consistently recognize high performance
  • Enforce compliance with defined sales processes, quoting standards, system entry requirements, and approval workflows.
  • Regularly evaluate and improve sales practices and workflows to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and scalable execution.

Inside Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four to six years of progressive sales experience, preferably within non-ferrous metals or industrial manufacturing and distribution environments.
  • Minimum of two to three years of experience leading, coaching, and managing high performance sales teams with measurable results.
  • Demonstrated success building, scaling, or transforming sales teams to consistently achieve performance targets.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including fluency in revenue, margin, EBITDA, DSO, and pipeline metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and CRM platforms.
  • Direct, professional, and effective written and verbal communication skills; Spanish proficiency preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial agreements with confidence and discipline.
  • Proven ability to prioritize strategically, manage competing demands, and execute under pressure.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills balanced with commercial rigor and accountability.
  • Documented success driving measurable sales growth and improved profitability.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically for customer engagements, trade events, and commercial meetings.
  • High emotional intelligence demonstrated through professionalism, influence, and sound judgment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for team performance and business outcomes.
  • Ability to maintain work schedule flexibility as required to meet business and operational demands.
