Position Summary

The Parker Lord Sr Production Coordinator is responsible for releasing work orders for the Erie facility, primarily in the High-Capacity Laminates (HCL) value stream while working directly with the operations team for multi-functional production support. Responsible for ensuring on time customer delivery through the scheduling of raw materials, operations, and flow of work in process throughout the HCL value stream.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Support production in the HCL value stream and other areas as needed within the Parker Lord Erie facility while demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and quality

  • Requires significant interaction with MRP system (SAP), Microsoft office, and other software systems

  • Support coordination of customer shipments through data collection and status reporting

  • Closely monitors the status of all open orders and reviews with operations team daily

  • Support Master Scheduler in ensuring work order dates in MRP system (SAP) are accurate for reporting order status to customers

  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement through involvement with Parker Lean System (PLS)

  • Requires well-honed organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and management within and across departmental boundaries to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork

  • Ability to manage multiple, fluid priorities and proactively address demands in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independent of direct supervision while functioning as part of a team

  • Demonstrated effort toward self-improvement by gaining new knowledge/skills and accepting new assignments

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required

  • Associate's degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience

  • Or 3 years' relevant work experience

  • Or relevant 4-year degree

  • Fluent in English both written and verbal

Preferred

  • Extensive MRP/ERP experience

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification
