JOB OVERVIEW:

Provides inventory and production data analysis that contributes to business requirements planning. End to end knowledge of physical and systematic (SAP) material movement; from sourcing, inbound delivery, work in process, warehousing, distribution and return material authorization (RMA). Implements vendor management and distribution process improvements that increase quality, raise efficiency, and reduce the cost to process almonds. Completes projects that support logistics operation initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Performs data analysis on the following activities: Inventory, Production, Deployment, and Distribution to meet the information needs of Global Logistics Operations business partners.
  • Production Planning to ensure near and intermediate term plans are aligned to strategies, service and delivery. Use models and planning tools within SAP
  • Provides reports (charts, process flows, etc.) that assist in assessing global logistics operations supply chain effectiveness.
  • Proactively monitors inventory accuracy, trace and tracking of product movement, alerting management to trends that impact asset accountability, and offers recommendations for meeting future requirements.
  • Responsible for all inbound and outbound inventory movements in SAP. Ability to analyze and compare SAP with our partner's warehouse management system. Supports multiple plants and co-manufacturing plants in the network
  • Works with the Information Systems Department to identify and implement systems enhancements designed to improve the accuracy and automation of transactions, decrease data errors, and improve item traceability.
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP and planning systems
  • Leads projects that impact the supply chain by documenting processes, facilitating meetings, vendor management aligning to KPI and partnership expectations.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or Equivalent experience

Minimum number of year(s) of experience required in lieu of degree

  • 5 years of supply/production planning, production/operations, operations planning, department administrative coordination. Inventory control, or shipping/receiving experience.
  • Proficiency in performing WM warehouse movement transactions and resolving issues with inventory adjustments.
  • Proficiency in SAP and procedures.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Successful use of oral and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to illustrate data (charts, process flows).
  • Experience building working relationships in all organizational levels.
  • Generate plans, conduct research, presents options, makes recommendations.
  • Manages time efficiently.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • N/A

  • Sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Walking throughout warehouse and multiple buildings.
  • Occasional bending and lifting.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Office environment, hybrid model 3 days in office as business needs
  • Time spent in distribution and production areas.
  • Exposure to dust, moisture, and hot/cold temperatures.
