Description Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Location: Phoenix, AZ (85083) Employment Type: Temp to perm Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $21-23.10/hr, depending on shift (differential for night shift) Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm for the first 4 weeks, then then moving to a 12 hour production schedule on a compressed work shift (days and nights available) About Acara Solutions Acara is a premier recruiting and workforce solutions provider-we help companies compete for talent. What You'll Do: Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering process and stay informed of any changes in procedures. Recover tool condition from regular maintain or trouble shooting to provide high quality production line. Oversee AMHS (automated material handling system) device installation and qualification testing. Sustain and improve the performance of AMHS devices in cleanroom environment. Conduct hand-carry of wafers when necessary. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School diploma or GED What Sets You Apart: Semiconductor manufacturing experience. Previous or current material handling systems experience. 2+ years of experience in a mechanical, maintenance or manufacturing setting, working with electrical machinery, preventative maintenance, installation, and collaborative teams. Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation. Ability to work under a compressed work-week schedule, days, or nights. Committed, attentive, positive, multi-tasking attitude, and ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment in PPE coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glass and gloves. Able to wear clean room suit while standing and/or walking for a 12-hour shift in the FAB as needed. Additional info: Minimum Physical Demands: Ability to reach above shoulder level and move a FOUP from a storage location to a cart, up to 40 lbs. in weight. Extend arms above shoulder level for extended periods of time to install/move barcodes, E84 heads, and other AMHS material. Work in a confined space (less than 4 feet) to recover vehicles at the AMHS highway level. Work requires movement on hands and knees, to include bending, stooping, walking over periods of time.
