Overview

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Junior AP Accountant will assist in sharable processes with Accounting functions. In addition, assist the Accounts Payable team with invoice and expense processing and payments.



Responsibilities

    Assist the Accounts Payable team with processing invoices and expense reimbursements through Chrome River including review for policy compliance and approval.
  • Assist with processing manual invoices into 3E
  • Assist the AP team in other responsibilities as they are assigned from time to time including voucher reclasses and answering internal and external inquires coming through the AP email inbox.
  • Assist in running full cycle payment runs for daily vendor payments, employee reimbursements, rushes, and manual payment recording
  • Assist in the 3 times a week employee reimbursement process file preparation and upload
  • Assist in month end closing tasks
  • Other responsibilities as they are assigned from time to time.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in AP
  • Law firm experience preferred
  • The candidate must demonstrate that they can work efficiently and effectively under minimal to moderate supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (i.e. pivot tables, vlookup's, nested sumif's) and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Able to handle conflicting priorities and manage expectations of internal clients and external vendors
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team oriented and reliable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The anticipated base salary range offered for this role will be between $55,000 to $65,000 and represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base compensation range. Actual base compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees, and location, as well as the needs of the firm.
