Job Summary:
About the Booth Attendant position: The Booth Attendant is in the Division of Facilities Planning & Management's (FP&M) within the Department of Transportation Services. Transportation Services is responsible for the coordination and administration of all transportation-related services for the UW campus community. The primary functions of Transportation Services include the sale/management of parking permits, special event coordination, maintenance and enforcement, construction coordination, lot and booth operations, citation payments and appeals, information technology, financial, transportation planning, and development of multimodal options. The Booth Attendant will assist permit holders and hospital visitors at the Lot 75 Main Exit Parking Ramp with both digital and manual payment transactions, including cash, credit cards, and hospital validations. This position will also respond to inquiries to help visitors navigate their parking needs. This role will participate in trainings such as internal audits to support checks and balances, as well as career development and growth opportunities. Ongoing/Renewable Full-Time: 100% FTE Hours generally scheduled Friday through Monday from 12:30PM to 11:00PM. Occasional nights, weekends and holidays may be required for this position. Compensation:$20.00 minimum The minimum rate for this position is $20.00, but it is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
