Position: Imagery Analyst
Work Location: Fort Gordon, GA.
Clearance: TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI poly
Position Overview:
The IMINT Analyst (Mid) conducts imagery intelligence (IMINT) and GEOINT exploitation, analysis, and reporting in support of APOGEE mission requirements. The analyst interprets imagery and associated GEOINT sources to produce timely, accurate, policy-compliant intelligence products aligned to applicable standards, classification guidance, and customer tasking.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform GEOINT analysis across the full spectrum of U.S. Government and commercial GEOINT assets, maintaining tradecraft familiarity across multiple phenomenologies and sub-disciplines (e.g., SAR, EO, MTI, LiDAR, OPIR, WAPS, FMV) as required by mission tasking.
  • Maintain proficiency with tools and databases necessary to access supporting intelligence information and execute GEOINT support to the customer.
  • Apply GIS methods, geospatial analysis techniques, and analytic tradecraft to answer intelligence questions and develop mission-relevant assessments.
  • Capture analytic findings in textual, graphic, vector, or other formats as directed; ensure products conform to applicable content, accuracy, formatting, classification, and timeliness standards.
  • Maintain familiarity with relevant classification guides and applicable policy/Intelligence Community directives that govern GEOINT production and dissemination.
  • Support GEOINT collection and requirements refinement by providing input and recommendations on tailoring requirements and collection approaches as tasked.
  • Maintain familiarity with theater and national GEOINT requirements systems, databases, and software used to develop and manage requirements and collection plans.
  • Identify, research, order, retrieve, sort, and stage intelligence data from local, theater, and national databases; prepare data for analysis using appropriate software and applicable policies.
  • Maintain and organize data within storage/server arrays, facilitate access, and execute transfer of data for dissemination and/or exploitation as directed.
  • Provide subject matter support to Government leads; conduct quality research and deliver timely assessments in response to taskers, emails, meetings, and training events.
  • Attend meetings, working groups, and other relevant forums; draft and present briefings and written products (e.g., PowerPoint, white papers, executive summaries, information papers) as required.
  • Provide GEOINT analytical and production support during exercises while sustaining real-world mission support.
Minimum Education / Experience:
  • BA/BS degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND at least 8 years of Intelligence Analysis experience to include 6 years of CURRENT GEOINT Analysis experience; OR
  • HS diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 10 years of Intelligence Analysis experience to include 8 years of CURRENT GEOINT Analysis experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Excellent written & oral communication, research, and analytic skills.
  • Expert ability to manage personnel, requirements, and coordination of projects.
  • Expert capabilities to research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings, multimedia presentations, and written reports.
  • Extensive experience supporting decision making and special projects on integration issues, including the preparation, production, and coordination of written products and briefings for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with assessments, enterprise data integration, governance, and metrics, including the application of metadata management techniques and data modeling and design.
  • Expert knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations: intelligence collection, fusion, analysis, production, and dissemination for intelligence databases and products.
  • Experience with tradecraft and publication and ability to coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups, assimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce written reports.
  • TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI poly
