Please note: this position requires on site part time work in Germantown, WI during the school semester and offers full time in the summer. This is NOT a winter break or summer only internship.
Allient Milwaukee builds TCI branded product and is a dynamic, growing Milwaukee area manufacturer of industry leading products for AC and DC drives.
Allient Milwaukee | TCI is growing and we're doing it again. After another record-breaking year, we're expanding our facility and growing our Human Resources team. We're looking for a motivated HR Intern who is eager to gain real-world experience to grow and "bloom" in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.As the HR Intern you'll contribute to meaningful projects, gain hands-on experience across core HR functions, and cultivate career-ready skills. We are looking for fresh talent to help our team "bloom" this spring!
What You'll DoAs an HR Intern, you'll play an active role in supporting our energetic and collaborative team and employees:
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding for both hourly and salaried roles.
- Support HR compliance efforts, policy administration, and employee recordkeeping.
- Help administer time and attendance policies
- Collect and analyze onboarding feedback to improve the new hire experience to ensure we are helping them bloom and grow into productive and happy employees.
- Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives, including planning social events and activities
What We're Looking ForYou might be a great fit if you:
- Are currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
- Are motivated to learn, grow, collaborate, and contribute in a professional environment
- Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Are interested in a long-term internship (beyond summer) and available to work part-time during the school year
