The Position

Bloomberg Philanthropies isseekinga talented and highly organizedAssociate to be part of the Internal Communications team. This role blends writing and project management, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize information across Bloomberg Philanthropies program areas. The Internal Communications Associate will manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and connect the dots across teams to ensure alignment and quality across materials. The ideal candidate is a strong writer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This role will be based full time in New York City. Some evening and weekend work will be required.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assistin preparing memos and presentation decks featuring updates across all Bloomberg Philanthropies program areas (Arts, Education, Environment, Government Innovation, and Public Health) to support leadership decision-making
  • Draft briefing memos that synthesize key updates, strategic considerations, and forward-looking strategic considerations
  • Manage preparations for internal meetings, including shaping agendas, developing content, briefing speakers, and executing events
  • Coordinate with Bloomberg LP to develop presentations and materials foremployees


Qualifications of the ideal candidate



  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment either through internships or full-time work
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment with a flexibility and willingness to work outside normal business hours
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple schedules, deadlines, and competing priorities
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the demonstrated ability to effectivelyinterface withsenior level colleagues, both verbally and written
  • Proven ability to produce clear, thoughtful, and well-researched written content in a variety of formats
  • Must be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative environment
  • Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
