This is a fully remote position. It will be a 2-3 contract assignment with potential to get extended. Job Description * This team is seeking a Medical Record Specialist to support the Patient Care Plan team. * This person is expected to have great decision-making skills and is expected to show a passion for teamwork work. * As a Records Management Specialist you will be responsible for assisting with the overall medical records management process. * Key functions of this role will involve securing required medical records, patient chart audits, fielding medical records requests, and addressing billing issues related to missing/incomplete documentation. * The ability to review and collect information in a thorough and detailed manner, as well as timely response. Skills Emr, Customer service, microsoft, Medical record, Medical records software, electronic medical record Qualifications * EMR / EMR software experience * Microsoft experience (Word/Excel) * Medical Records experience 1+ year * Customer Service Experience * Remote work experience * High Volume Control, Task Oriented, Driven by performance, documentation accuracy Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
