Thermal Analysis Engineer Leesburg, VA (remote) Pay From: $150,000 per year MUST: Experienced Thermal Analysis Engineer 7+ years of relevant Thermal Analysis experience Established understanding of heat transfer fundamentals in space environment Good understanding of common spacecraft thermal hardware Understanding of aerospace hardware verification and validation process Experience with Thermal Desktop required B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering DUTIES: Build thermal models in Thermal Desktop at full-spacecraft scale Interrogate stakeholders on requirements, architectures, and design maturity Continuously review team workflow to align with the overall objective of safe and reliable mission Post-process analysis results, present findings to stakeholders with relevant confidence intervals Identify and resolve thermal noncompliance Perform trade studies Quality control for thermal report writing, final signoff on findings Present content to program-gated reviews, defend assumptions and analysis methods Create work plans, document progress, and report status to managers Mentor mid-career analysts Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
