Short Description

  • Provides psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, social work consultation, referrals, short term crisis counseling to facilitate discharge plans, and/or adjustment to illness, and complex discharge planning for patients and their families
  • Functions as a member of the Utilization Management team
  • Responsible for MSW field instruction for Rutgers University School of Social Work.
  • Provides supervision to BA/BSW staff, LCSW's provide clinical supervision to LSW staff, as assigned by the Director of Utilization Management

Experience Required

1-2 years health care experience


Education Requirements

Requires a master's degree in social work (MSW)


License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ SW License - (NEW JERSEY SOCIAL WORKER), LCSW Preferred.

Hourly Rate Min $28
Hourly Rate Max $46


The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
