The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking a Lead Enterprise Project Manager to join our Corporate team in Seattle, WA. This role is responsible for delivering complex, cross-functional and/or enterprise-wide initiatives while strengthening how project management is practiced across the organization. This role operates at the center of high-impact work - partnering with business leaders, aligning teams, and ensuring our most important initiatives move forward with clarity, discipline, and momentum. As a close partner to leadership, this role will help translate strategy into execution and improve consistency in how projects are planned, led, and delivered. Responsibilities include:

Lead Strategic and High-Impact Enterprise Initiatives

  • Own and deliver complex, cross-functional projects tied to strategic priorities

  • Drive alignment across stakeholders, teams, and competing priorities

  • Establish clear scope, timelines, success measures, and accountability

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early - and take action to resolve them

  • Step into challenged initiatives to stabilize execution and restore momentum

Strengthen Team Project Delivery

  • Operate as both strategist and doer - shaping how McKinstry thinks about project management excellence while driving project initiatives forward

  • Set operational excellence for strong project management

  • Lead and guide other project managers on planning, communication, and delivery

  • Help ensure consistency in how projects are scoped, managed, and reported

Improve Clarity, Prioritization, and Visibility

  • Bring structure to ambiguous work and translate it into actionable plans

  • Improve visibility into project health, risks, and outcomes for leadership

  • Align priorities across initiatives and help teams stay focused on what matters most

  • Ensure reporting is clear, concise, and decision-oriented

Partner with Department Leadership

  • Support portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource alignment

  • Represent the PMO in cross-functional forums and leadership discussions

  • Identify and implement improvements to tools, workflows, and operating rhythm

  • Translate execution insights into recommendations that improve how work gets done

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • 10-12+ years of experience in project or program management

  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership

  • Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or evolving work

  • Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and move work forward across teams

  • Excellent communication skills - clear, concise, and outcome-focused

  • A strategic leader who enjoys building and shaping programs in a growing organization\\Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing structure to complex, cross-functional issues

  • Confident in engaging executive leadership and influencing without authority

  • Analytical and pragmatic - ability to connect data to business impact

  • Equally capable of setting vision and 'rolling up your sleeves' to execute

  • Ability to thrive in environment of high change, the problems are complex, and the impact is tangible

The pay range for this position is $123,570 - $214,110 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
