Overview Nakupuna Companies seeks a Program Manager I to join a team working under the Office of Health Diplomacy. The Office of Health Diplomacy (HD) serves as the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy's (GHSD) central hub for supporting the execution of the America First Global Health Strategy (AFGHS) and the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). This role is central to the U.S. government's commitment to saving lives and improving global health outcomes by integrating health security, diplomacy, and data-driven decision-making. Operating in nearly 72 countries, GHSD works to achieve sustainable epidemic control and strengthen global health architecture against emerging threats. Responsibilities The Program Manager position serves as a critical link between diplomatic efforts and program execution. The incumbent has comprehensive responsibility for managing a specific country portfolio, working with GHSD headquarters and interagency staff to monitor progress, optimize data utilization, and ensure that all investments-including those through the Global Fund and UNAIDS-align with AFGHS priorities to achieve long-term, self-reliant epidemic control.The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Serve as the primary communication channel between GHSD and the in-country team, partner governments, and international stakeholders. Elevate the level of engagement with Global Fund and UNAIDS counterparts to ensure complementary programming and strategic alignment

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation for this position is $106,000.00 to $110,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees. | |||||||||
