Summary of role:

Under moderate supervision, position is responsible for performing one or more of a variety of automated and/or non-automated warehouse
duties such as receiving, returns, shipping, picking, packing, checking, and stocking of goods and ensuring that orders are filled accurately
and efficiently, continually striving for improved customer satisfaction. Responsible for leading one or more job groups which includes daily
productivity functions within the assigned area based on the daily distribution center volume and goals. This position is categorized as
compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all
division, corporate and regulatory requirements.

Shift details: Full Time |5:00am - 3:30pm, 4X10

Pay rate: $23/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Spends much of the time training warehouse associates in duties and responsibilities and all associates in the safe use of equipment

  • according to SOPs. Observes performance to correct behaviors as necessary.

  • May require use of a radio frequency (RF) device to perform daily tasks.

  • Responsible to assist warehouse personnel with the efficient execution of order filling, receiving, stocking and returns.

  • May oversee shipping and general operations (UPS, emergency orders or general deliveries).

  • Continues to perform as an individual contributor completing advanced tasks and decision making with detailed knowledge of the position

  • and procedures.

  • Provides day-to-day tactical direction and guidance to warehouse associates. Responsible for daily workloads. Coordinates and

  • recommends efficiencies to workflow.

  • Manages inventory; including monitoring levels.

  • May use forklifts, reach trucks and/or other motorized equipment to move inventory.

  • Assists in supervision of the department including, but not limited to, assignment of work, manpower needs to cover for associate

  • vacations, and building volume.

  • Participates in associate concerns such as reporting and follow up to supervisor.

  • Utilizes computer system applications for proper operation and reports.

  • Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and state and DEA regulations.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Experience and educational requirements:

  • Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education; two (2) plus years of work experience.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Visual requirement is for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

  • Associate is required to stand, walk (or otherwise be mobile).

  • Ability to deal with stressful situations as they arise.

  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pickers, etc.
