We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Corporate Treasury Technology team. This role is in New York Team Overview: The Corporate Treasury Technology team is fundamental in building technology solutions to BNY's Chief Investment Office (CIO) and Corporate Treasury operations, spanning the US, EMEA, Brazil, and APAC. This team supports the Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, and Accounting departments with a range of in-house and external applications that enable trade booking, seamless processing (STP), accrual calculations, reconciliation, analytics, and regulatory reporting. The team is also responsible for developing tools focused on Global Monitoring of Liquidity and Intraday Stress Testing. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular frameworks and backend technologies such as C# and SQL Server, ensuring clean, modular, and reusable code while optimizing performance and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive, interactive interfaces, participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards, resolve technical issues efficiently, and stay current with the latest Angular and frontend technology trends
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Agile pod of 4-5 engineers, fostering delivery excellence, collaboration, and engineering best practices
- Architect and build .NET and MSSQL based services deployed on Kubernetes with a focus on performance, scalability, and enterprise-grade security.
- Ensure reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance across all systems, with a focus on operational excellence and production stability.
- Stay current with advancements in AI, ML, and data engineering; propose and implement improvements to applications.
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders and support junior team members through technical guidance.
- Develop and mentor engineering talent, reinforcing a culture of ownership, productivity, technical expertise, and modern SDLC practice.
- Experience in running high-availability financial applications, understanding post-trade workflows (with preference for settlement & clearing), and brings strong engineering leadership.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- 5 plus years of professional experience in angular development with C#
- Proficiency in Angular, C#, SQL Server. Java, SpringBoot, Python will be added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with vibe coding or any AI-assisted software development
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous programming and integration.
- Hands on experience with Nunit/Junit, any mock framework, functional testing, and regression testing.
- Proficiency with software development lifecycle, CICD, GIT, and version control workflows. Strong knowledge of agile methodology.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $209,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
