This role is based in vibrant San Francisco; the Customer Operations Director is a vital leader within the Commercial Organization. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Customer Excellence & Execution, this role is all about mastering trade spending and commercial planning magic. Supported by a talented team focused on Promotional investments, Planning, Sales Technology Operations, and Strategic Commercial Events, you'll join forces with other Sales Directors and Senior Finance, Marketing and Supply leaders for some serious cross-functional teamwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all aspects of trade and promotional spending, including system administration and optimization of expenditures. Maximize spending ROI, tracking and planning efficiencies.
  • Work closely with Sales Account teams across the USA and Canada, as well as Supply and Demand Planning teams in San Francisco, to establish accurate monthly sales forecasts in the most efficient way.
  • Lead the development and execution of the corporate annual commercial planning process, guiding the organization through critical phases to support strategic objectives.
  • Take charge of budgeting and executing key National Sales events, such as Sales Summits and Natural Products Expo West.
  • Direct the management and enhancement of internal communication tools, including websites, applications, and templates, to facilitate effective communication across the organization.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, and/or Sales Planning and/or Sales Technology preferably at a Consumer Products company.
  • Strong Trade Spending Management experience (Deals, Terms, Promotional Spending, Tracking tools, etc.), ideally managing it at a headquarter level.
  • Bachelors Degree.

  • Fast paced, entrepreneurial thinker, multi-tasked with cross functional strong leadership capabilities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, computer and analytical skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableua, Syndicated tools )
  • High energy individual, passionate about influencing others.
  • Being a team player that's comfortable with ambiguity and deadline pressures.
  • Passion for process improvements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Great office work environment: Remote work available once a week.
  • Role is eligible for domestic or international relocation.
  • Domestic Travel 2-4 times a year.
The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 185,280.00 USD - 243,180.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives.
