*Customer Support Specialist (Email & Case Resolution)* *Job Description* We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join a Customer Support team that provides direct support to Account Managers and their managed accounts. This role is heavily focused on *email communication, case resolution, and research-driven problem solving*, rather than high-volume phone calls. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing complex customer issues, navigating multiple systems, and communicating clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
*Key Responsibilities* * Manage a high volume of customer inquiries primarily through *email and case management systems* * *Research and resolve customer issues independently, thinking critically and creatively to identify solutions* * *Provide customer service support related to vehicle ordering, service issues, billing changes, and account updates* * *Assist drivers with time-sensitive service concerns (example: vehicle impound situations) and educate them on future service processes* * *Communicate frequently with internal departments to coordinate resolutions and follow up on open cases* * *Utilize Salesforce CRM* to document cases, track progress, and ensure timely follow-up * Make outbound phone calls when necessary to gather missing information or provide updates * Enter and update customer and driver information accurately while multitasking across multiple systems * Use internal systems to: * Create vehicle selectors * Process billing changes * Generate reports * Distribute insurance cards * Update driver and vehicle data * Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality in all customer interactions *Required Qualifications* * Minimum *2+ years of customer service experience* in an office or professional environment * Strong written communication skills, with the ability to compose clear, grammatically correct emails * Excellent attention to detail and ability to conduct research to resolve issues * Strong computer proficiency, including working across *multiple systems and monitors* * *Experience using Microsoft Office*, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel (basic data entry) * Comfortable learning new systems and workflows * Strong typing skills (40 WPM minimum) * High School Diploma or equivalent *Preferred Qualifications* * Previous experience using *Salesforce or other CRM systems* * *Experience with case management*, customer resolution, or account support * Experience in fleet services, logistics support, or operational customer service (a plus but not required) *Skills* * Customer Service & Customer Resolution * Email Communication * Case Management * Data Entry * CRM Systems (Salesforce preferred) * Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) * Multitasking & Problem Solving * Internal & External Communication *Experience Level* * Entry-Level to Early Career *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Schaumburg, IL. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
