Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence in code quality, feature reliability, and tech debt reduction
  • Coach, mentor, and grow team expertise; lead hiring and goal-setting in collaboration with leadership
  • Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 to interpret business requirements, existing products, and technical specifications by analyzing product documentation and code. Proactively identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in current products, future business needs, and technical specifications, applying an AI-first mindset and technologies
  • Design, develop, and maintain services and applications using technologies such as C#, .NET Core, and ASP, while remaining adaptable to other technology stacks as needed
  • Oversee incident resolution and implement permanent corrective actions
  • Build robust automation for build, deployment, testing, monitoring, and telemetry
  • Leverage metrics to improve system performance and achieve technical and business MBOs
  • Stay close to the code while delegating effectively to empower team ownership

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in leadership roles managing multiple teams
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, automation, and monitoring tools
  • Solid knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, MRDP and modern development frameworks
  • Solid Knowledge with AI/ML concepts and safe experimentation environments
  • Leadership Skills including proven ability to mentor teams, drive operational excellence, and manage global collaboration
  • Proven excellent written and verbal skills for stakeholder engagement and team alignment
  • Proven ability to resolve incidents quickly and implement permanent corrective actions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid experience leading multiple teams, delivering large scale, cloud based systems with solid accountability for outcomes
  • Proven ability to set technical strategy, manage tech debt, leverage engineering metrics, and drive continuous improvement aligned to business priorities
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, automation, observability, and incident management, driving operational excellence and reliability
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOX), secure coding practices, and demonstrated excellence in mentoring teams, global collaboration, and executive level communication

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
