TMG's Operator I must be able to operate all types of heavy civil equipment safely, productively, and efficiently. This position requires grading, excavating, loading, hauling, placing, and compacting of earth, sand, or aggregate to facilitate the completion of various civil earthwork projects. The higher end of the pay band is generally reserved for candidates who possess a current CDL license and/or a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC), along with relevant experience and qualifications. Scope of Operator I Position Operates TMG equipment in support of TMG's team effort to successfully complete various civil projects, which meet or exceed the company's performance standards. Position reports to Civil Foreman or Superintendent. Essential Functions of Operator I Position Must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.). Regularly required to sit, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel, and verbally communicate and listen. Other physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Responsibilities
