Overview As a Geospatial Analyst, the successful candidate will participate on a team engaged in: (1) collecting, processing, and delivering of geospatial data; (2) perform quality assurance and quality control on data products; (3) managing and organizing large volumes of geospatial data; (4) providing technical support and assistance to partners/end-users and (5) working side-by-side with a team of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) professionals to plan the execution of new GEOINT 2D/3D production workflows. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES: Essential functions are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed by employees. This list of essential functions is not intended to reflect every duty that may be performed within the job. * Be a part of a team responsible for performing a diverse set of geospatial processing and production tasks. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: * Working knowledge of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) GEOINT 2D/3D data formats, standards and user-community use cases for those data sets. Preferred: * Experience producing standard 2D/3D GEOINT Products. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Knowledge of geospatial principles including datum/projection, data types and formats, accuracy assessment methodologies, data integrity, photogrammetry, SAR processing, and GIS analysis. EDUCATION: A Bachelors or Masters from an accredited college in a geospatial, or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
