As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Shift in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate at a technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site policies, maintaining professional presence and handling security-related concerns with discretion and sound judgment.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and sensitive areas involving equipment, networks, and other business assets, reporting maintenance, access, and/or policy issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
