Position Summary: This position provides monitoring, training, technical assistance, menu review, and claims support for CTI's Child and Family Services Division as the Sponsoring Agency for CACFP Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- This position provides monitoring, training, technical assistance, menu review, and claims support for CTI as the Sponsoring Agency for CACFP
- Conduct and participate in required CACFP monitoring activities for compliance, including desk reviews and on-site visits, CACFP meal patterns and service procedures, etc. in accordance with federal, state, and agency requirements.
- Prepare and review monitoring reports with division programs and provide follow-up guidance.
- Provide CACFP training and ongoing technical assistance to program staff, food service teams, and administrators.
- Review monthly meal counts, attendance, and supporting documentation for accuracy, compliance, and reimbursement integrity.
- Submit monthly reimbursement into DESE portal.
- Monitor claim trends, errors, and disallowances and provide follow-up guidance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records to support fiscal accountability and CACFP reimbursement requirements.
- Collaborate with food service staff on menu planning, substitutions, and product compliance.
- Promote nutrition best practices aligned with all funding sources and agency standards.
- Review and process medical statements for food allergies, intolerances, and disabilities; share information and guidance with food service staff.
- Maintain complete and accurate CACFP files, including monitoring records, training logs, menus, claims, medical statements, etc.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, external stakeholders and regulatory agencies while maintaining confidentiality.
- Support case management meetings and food service tasks as needed. Contact other consultants when necessary and assist with referrals to outside agencies when warranted.

- Associates degree
- Strong proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Desire to work with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals.
- Must be able to pass a Background Record Check, including fingerprinting.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of prior related experience
- Registered Dietician or BA Nutrition or Community Health Educator
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Khmer English/Portuguese)
