Job Summary Manage and execute the activities associated with construction and operations restoration in accordance with all applicable requirements, ensuring safe, reliable service to customers in an efficient, economical manner. Coordinates with leaders, managers, field operations, front-line leaders, scheduling leaders, and engineers to ensure cost-effective restoration. Holds internal crews and external contractors accountable and works with management to resolve as necessary.
Essential Functions
- Coordinates with the coordinators, municipalities, and contractors on the timeliness of our restoration repair
- Performs field Q&A of the restoration process (I.e. backfill materials, compaction, concrete/asphalt materials, seed, sod, landscaping, etc.)
- Takes the lead on investigating, resolving and responding to customer restoration concerns/complaints
- Fosters and promotes valued relationships with government entities, industry associates, company affiliates, contractors and customers
- Collaborates with field operations/construction services, field operations leaders, construction leaders, and construction managers to ensure internal/external crew efficiencies are achieved
- Ensure contract adherence and adjust to changes as needed
- Assures effective coordination, scheduling, and resource planning of restoration jobs
- Works across geographic boundaries whenever necessary.
- Supports leaders, managers, engineering and contractors in coaching and training of a geographically dispersed workforce
- Actively interacts with internal/external crews' leaders to ensure performance adheres to established metrics and policies/procedures
- Reviews contractor invoicing, contractor daily progress reports, to ensure that the invoice is correct and to ensure contractor productivity is met
- Works with construction coordinators and crew leaders to prepare proper estimation of hard and soft surface repairs to meet local codes (I.e. cut backs, paving requirement, type of repair material, etc.)
- Attends pre-construction meetings with local municipalities to protect the interest of the company
- Implements best practices while driving functional consistency, process standardization and operational excellence, while promoting safety
- Partners with engineers and engineering technicians to develop best-value restoration practices and cost estimations
- Supports a project management and planning culture
- Promotes the necessary environment for effective customer satisfaction, communication, and collaboration
- Assures activities and processes are implemented to ensure the safe, reliable and cost effective delivery of service to customers
- Effective use of technology, tools and planning techniques to improve process results and tracking
- Promotes and assures safe working environment and public safety
- Executes construction services/operations strategies
- Ensures timely and accurate job order execution and invoice payments to contractor
- Provides input and supports strategic restoration objectives
- Monitors backlog of restoration work to ensure closeout/completion of job orders
Required Qualifications For Position
- High School Diploma Or equivalent
- Experience working with paving, sewer and sod/seed restoration contractors
- Experience in construction environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with customers, contracts and emergency response
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal operating codes
- Strong knowledge of policies, procedures, and standards pertaining to construction
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and operations maps
- Working knowledge of operations support systems, internal mainframe systems windows based systems, etc.
- Must be physically able to negotiate variety of terrain and building structures.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
- May be required to periodically work beyond normal 8 hour day (at applicable overtime rate) to accommodate construction schedule and needs.
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a company vehicle and have an excellent driving record. Upon Hire
Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
- 4-6 years underground utility construction experience
- Leadership experience
- Restoration experience
- Construction Inspection experience
- Operations Engineer/Engineering Technician experience
- Experience in estimating project costs and creating job orders
- Strong experience working with excel, work, power point, etc.

Salary Range*: $69,900.00 - $105,000.00
*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity. Posting Start Date: 2026-04-17
