Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Coordinator serves as a key liaison between the Sales and Engineering teams, ensuring accurate communication, efficient project handoffs, and alignment between customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities. This role helps translate customer needs into actionable engineering and production plans while supporting on-time and profitable project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between Sales and Engineering for new and ongoing projects
  • Review customer requirements, specifications, and RFQs to ensure clarity and completeness
  • Facilitate project handoffs from Sales to Engineering, ensuring all necessary information is transferred accurately
  • Track project progress and communicate updates, risks, and changes to both teams
  • Assist in resolving technical and scheduling conflicts between customer expectations and engineering constraints
  • Support the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and timelines
  • Maintain documentation related to orders, specifications, and change requests
  • Coordinate with production as needed to ensure alignment with project requirements
  • Inspect equipment on the shop floor to ensure readiness for customer inspection.
  • Coordinating with key team members to ensure customer visits have a clear agenda and that the equipment reliably performs as promised in the proposal.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 Years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
