Job Description

Role Overview

The Regional Commercial Director, Private Label is responsible for defining and executing the global commercial growth strategy. The role sets growth ambition, establishes Key Account strategic direction across regions, and builds Top-to-Top relationships with leading global retailers. This position ensures cross-division alignment between Flexibles and Rigids, protects margin, and enables disciplined profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define regional revenue targets and set the strategic direction for Key Account growth.
  • Lead and execute the commercial strategy for the Private Label business across the regions.
  • Own executive-level relationship with key global and regional retailers, driving top-to-top engagement and long-term partnerships.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance direction to Regional Key Account Leaders to accelerate growth and market share.
  • Ensure alignment and coordination across Flexibles and Rigid divisions, minimizing channel conflict and maximizing customer impact.
  • Drive cross-divisional collaboration to leverage capabilities and expand share of wallet.
  • Lead pricing strategy and margin management to balance competitiveness with profitable growth.
  • Partner with Portfolio and Finance teams to align commercial ambition with financial targets and disciplined investment decisions.
  • Oversee regional market activation, value proposition development and retail engagement initiatives.
  • Influence R&D prioritization to ensure innovation pipelines support regional growth objectives and customer needs.
Commercial & Financial Accountability
  • Margin protection responsibility at segment level.
  • Strategic oversight of working capital discipline.
  • Alignment of regional sales plans with global commercial objectives.
  • Contribution to long-term competitive positioning and market share expansion.

What We Want From You

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in multinational B2B organizations.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale revenue portfolios of $250M-$500M+ with sustained growth.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Experience operating effectively across multiple regions, functions and business units.
  • Executive-level negotiation, influence, and stakeholder management capability.

Relationships

The Regional Commercial Director, Private Label serves as the commercial architect of the Private Label segment. The role integrates growth ambition, portfolio alignment, and financial discipline to ensure sustainable value creation. This position is critical in establishing unified retailer engagement and preventing internal channel conflict across divisions.

Salaried Statement

The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $140,000 to $220,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.

The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base pay for this role at the time of this posting. This range is applicable to positions performed in jurisdictions with pay transparency requirements, includingCA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC, as well as remote roles that may be performed in these locations. Compensation for roles performed outside of these jurisdictions may vary. The Company reserves the right to modify this range at any time.
