Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for performing a range of production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical components, including both repetitive and non-repetitive operations. This role involves working from diagrams and technical drawings to assemble, test, and inspect products to ensure quality and functionality. The Assembler may also support prototype builds and rework activities, contributing to both standard production and development processes.

Job Responsibilities



  • Perform assembly operations on electronic and mechanical components, including modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables
  • Interpret diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to complete assembly tasks accurately
  • Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and other equipment to assemble components
  • Conduct continuity checks and basic testing on work in process and completed assemblies
  • Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble components as needed
  • Assist with prototype assembly and testing under simulated conditions
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or defects
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment


Job Requirements



  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions
  • Experience using hand and power tools in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Basic understanding of electronic and/or mechanical assembly processes
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to identify and address assembly issues
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred


Work Experience



  • Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field preferred
