The Learning Commons provides centralized academic support for University of Cincinnati students.We bring together faculty, best-practices in teaching and learning, and hundreds of outstanding peer educators to create flexible academic success programming. We're seeking motivated candidates who enjoy working in a fast-moving environment to help students achieve their full potential! This position will support the development and management of the Content Review program. The Content Review program provides students taking introductory science courses with weekly student-facilitated collaborative review sessions covering content on-pace with the course. This position will consist of work onsite at UC's Clifton campus and may offer flexibility for remote hours. Position Overview
This role involves a multifaceted approach to supporting the Content Review Program. This encompasses assisting in the training of Content Review staff, direct supervision of Content Creator Coordinators (including planning and hosting weekly meetings, checking their timecards and lesson plans, etc.), participation in recruitment and hiring processes, comprehensive administrative support such as task tracking and scheduling, coordination of staff observations and assessments, assistance with data analysis and reporting, general office support during operational hours, and the flexibility to undertake additional duties as required. Compensation and Logistics
Hours:This is a10-hour per week appointment. Duration: The position will run for one calendar year from July 2026-July 2027, with the option to continue into the subsequent academic year. Pay:The position is a$9,000stipend position with pay thataverages to$19.56per hour.GraduateAssistantsare not required towork duringuniversity breaks.If needed, GraduateAssistantswill be paid separatelyfor time worked duringthese weeks. Minimum Requirements
Must be registered for at least twelve graduate credit hours each quarter of the academic year. Must meet eligibility criteria published by graduate programs that make awards and appointments. Please note that all candidates for Graduate Assistant positions must be in good standing with their degree programs (e.g., 3.0+ GPA and making adequate progress to degree) and meet the eligibility criteria published by the Graduate School, Graduate Assistants need to be full-time students in both fall and spring semesters Required Skills and Experiences

Training and Education
The position holder will undergo training in the areas of curriculum development and STEM pedagogy. This may include learning the mission and implementation of corequisite science support programming at the University of Cincinnati. UC is an E-Verify employer.
