Position Summary:
Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) is transformingto accelerate brand growth.As part of theMarketing Center of Excellence (MCOE)group reportingto the Directorof Consumer Insights(CI),Transformation,theAssociate Consumer Insightswill contribute to building a consumer obsession culture at BBU.The focus will beInnovation pipeline 3+ years out, cross-and portfolio transformation, leaning intoadvancements of AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • CI for Advanced Innovation,experienced insightsinnovation professional who hasexperience employing theappropriate customresearch projects for assessingnew innovationideas. Must havethe people skills toexplain findings, insights, andlearnings to marketing partners.Experience managing many projects concurrently for smooth andtimelydelivery.
  • CI Transformation:Embrace changingCI ways of workinggiven the acceleration ofAItools.Enthusiastically usenewAI-assistedinsightstools, automation, and advanced analytics to improve insight speedand quality.Supportadoptionof new CI processes, tools, andAI-enabledmethodsthroughtraining and enablement materials.
  • Operating Model, Governance & AI Stewardship
  • Implementframeworks for intake, prioritization, governance, and insight quality.
  • Beyond project management, conductaccuracychecksof results.
  • Ability to drivealignment withpartners prior to launching researchas well as to the results for decision making.
  • Passion for Insights,empathy for consumers and what they need and want (spoken or not) with the ability to help build plans to deliver.Proventrack recordofcustom research management andinsightful thinkingfor innovation, particularlyfurther outinnovation.
  • Coordinateinnovation learning agendasacross portfolios withassistancefrom reporting manager
  • Strong interpersonal skillsand a heart for building effective working relationshipswith other BBU associates and partners.
  • Curious, adaptive,future focused, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience withdata sourcesto incorporate into evidence-based innovation recommendations and plans(custom quant tabs,syndicated data systems, etc.).

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's degreein business, psychology, social studies, anthropology, or similar,Data & Analytics, Information Systems, Strategy, or related fields.
  • At least three years of experience showing progress in their skills, knowledge, and accomplishments in an insights function or role, with increasing focus oninnovation insightssolutions.
  • Someexperience ofusingAItools.
  • A self-starter able to followstructured processes and timelines with little supervision.
  • Ability to work effectivelyand positively with teams.
  • Positive, curious,creativeand innovative thinker with the ability to energize,influence, andwork effectively.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to manage complexity and problem-solve.
  • Computer skills andproficiencywith PowerPoint, Excel, and other software/applications.
  • Domestic Travel: 10-20%
