Appian is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Web Content Manager to contribute to the evolution and maintenance of our web presence. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of high-impact web experiences, ensuring our CMS remains healthy, scalable, and user-friendly. Rather than just executing updates, you will manage the intake of stakeholder requests and enforce a content lifecycle strategy. You will also play a critical role in empowering other teams through distributed authoring, ensuring our global web footprint is consistent, modern, and optimized for conversion. Key Responsibilities Web Experience Production & Scaling: Oversee the end-to-end production and launch of high-quality web pages, ensuring they are optimized for the B2B buyer journey. Partner with Content and PMM teams to ensure web content is engaging, accessible, and aligned with company strategy. Partner with the SEO/AEO team to ensure web content is.optimized for organic growth Partner with creative agencies to guarantee visual assets are produced in-time Webpage Localization & Global Expansion: Lead the execution of webpage localization, ensuring a seamless and culturally relevant experience for international markets. Manage the workflow between internal teams and external translation agencies to ensure high-quality, timely localized content updates. Design System and CMS Maintenance: Manage the web component library within our CMS, ensuring technical stability. Monitor and maintain overall CMS health, collaborating with web engineering to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements. Strategic Intake & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary point of contact for internal web requests, developing a clear prioritization framework to align web updates with business objectives. Build a regular cadence with regional marketing leads to provide visibility into the web roadmap and production timelines. Content Strategy & Lifecycle Governance Develop and enforce a global content lifecycle process, including regular audits, refreshes, and archiving of outdated content.. Partner with the performance team to lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts on key landing pages through message and layout testing. Team Enablement & Distributed Authoring: Design and lead training programs to enable cross-functional and regional teams to perform self-service content updates within a governed framework. Create and maintain documentation and guides for the CMS to ensure high-quality execution across the organization. About You Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Experience: 7+ years of related experience in web content management , with a strong focus on the B2B sector.. Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in enterprise-level CMS platforms (e.g.,Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore) and a strong understanding of how design systems power modern web architecture. Operational Mindset: Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder environments and streamlining production workflows. Skills: Clear, compelling communication with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable insights for stakeholders. The base salary for this role is between $75,000-$175,000per year and represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant work experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, and market and business conditions that exist when extending an offer. A discretionary bonus may be awarded in recognition of individual and company performance.
