As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Lake Charles, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate reporting channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to unusual activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and sensitive business spaces, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry or disruptive behavior.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and support law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during security-related events when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
