Position Summary:
The Master Data Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of SKU and item master data across ERP and WMS systems. This role verifies and updates product attributes, packaging, dimensions, costing, and vendor details to support operational and financial integrity. The specialist ensures data quality by performing audits, resolving discrepancies, and applying established data standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role coordinates item setup requests, gathers required information, and supports system changes, testing, and updates related to item data workflows to ensure reliable and efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain accurate item master data in ERP/WMS systems
  • Verify and update product attributes, dimensions, packaging, costing and vendor details.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing audits, resolving errors, and following data standards
  • Process item setup, cost changes, and maintenance requests and coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required information.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities related to data accuracy
  • Support system implementation, changes, testing and updates related to item data workflows.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Qualifications & Required Skills & Competencies (Education, types of experiences, software, years of experience, etc.):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Data Analytics or similar or 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools, and ERP or Supply Chain systems.
  • High attention to detail along with analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to Travel as required

Work Environment: Work will typically be performed in an office environment Monday through Friday.

Equipment Used: Regularly uses typical office equipment including computer keyboard, terminal and copier.
