Description

The Vendor Management Specialist will assist the Vendor Management Department with day-to-day tasks related to the Bank's TPRM Program. This role will work closely with other members of the Vendor Management team to complete all required reviews and due diligence gathers to ensure the Bank's compliance with industry best practices and auditor requirements. The Vendor Management Specialist will coordinate with department leads throughout the Bank to keep their vendors up to date.

Below is a list of essential functions of this position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Vendor Management Department in day-to-day functions of TPRM.
  • Work with department leads throughout the Bank to collect vendor due diligence and complete vendor reviews as needed.
  • Aid the Vendor Management Department in completion of projects and tasks as assigned and needed.
  • Develop knowledge and complete trainings/verifications to stay on top of changing compliance requirements and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with other Vendor Management members to complete TPRM requirements efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential position requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. At minimum an associate's degree (or equivalent from a 2-year college), a minimum of 2 years of TPRM or related experience, or a combination of education and experience is preferred. A background screening will be conducted.

  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.
  • TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Experience with Office 365 and OneDrive and SharePoint preferred.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

This position is fully remote and employee will operate in an environment with considerable time spent at a desk using a employer provided laptop.
