Location West Monroe, LA

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Shift: Must be open to work between 8:00 AM & 5:00 PM | 20 hours per week

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction or a related industry
• Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting practices
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred; experience with construction-specific software is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices and customer billing
• Track and allocate expenses by job for accurate job costing
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
• Process subcontractor payments and maintain W-9s, certificates of insurance, and lien waivers
• Assist with payroll processing, including tracking employee hours by job (if applicable)
• Prepare and submit invoices, including progress billing and retainage tracking
• Maintain organized financial records for multiple projects
• Generate financial reports, including job cost reports, profit & loss, and cash flow summaries
• Assist with budgeting and project cost tracking
• Support CPA/accountant with tax filings and year-end reporting
