Job Description




Life doesn't always follow a fixed schedule. That's why we created the Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Clinical Patrol in Chesterfield, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime
Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

    Provide a dedicated professional Security Presence in a healthcare setting
  • Promote Patient Safety with consistent patrols, De-escalation Tactics, and a focus on compassionate care
  • Assist medical staff in high intensity incidents & emergencies
  • Conduct Patient safety screenings, Provide access control, and customer service assistance
  • Complete accurate after-action reports for incidents and calls for service
  • Assist Medical team with medical restraints as trained, Transport Deceased patients to the morgue
  • Maintain Hospital Safety and Security policies, and patient safety and dignity with the highest level of professionalism

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma/GED verifiable by a 3rd party background check
  • Current driver's license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state
  • At least 2 years of verifiable work history with no gaps in employment more than 90 days
  • Ability to pass a federal 10-panel drug test
  • Willing to undergo TB bloodwork and vaccination compliance requirements
  • Ability to remain calm, confident, and reliable in stressful situations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods and respond quickly when needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
  • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
  • A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
  • Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
