Job Description

This position supports the execution of the quality system with a focus on dimensional concession activities and the review, maintenance, and implementation of customer specifications.

INPUTS AND OUTPUTS:
Dimensional Concession Process
* Manage the tracking system for dimensional concessions.
* Create dimensional concession records.
* Review and process dimensional concessions in the ERP system.
* Collaborate with shop personnel to perform 5 Whys and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCAs).
* Manage the NCR system for dimensional-related issues.
Specification Review, Maintenance, and Implementation
* Support the full customer specification lifecycle, including revision surveillance, acquisition, documentation, and incorporation.
* Prepare and maintain specification review documentation and records.
* Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure specification updates move through the review and incorporation process.
Other Responsibilities
* Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to work effectively with individuals across multiple disciplines.
* 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance technician role, including:
o Inspection using measurement instruments
o Understanding and interpreting drawings and specifications
o Experience with GD&T and interpreting CMM results
o Ability to read, interpret, and summarize customer specifications and requirements

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Experience managing nonconformance control processes.
* Experience reviewing, summarizing, or maintaining customer specifications and technical requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to manage controlled records and work within formal procedures and quality systems.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
* Ability to work effectively with individuals from multiple disciplines.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
* Ability to use computer systems, including an Oracle based ERP system and customer portals.
