Clinical Faculty Job Description Texas Woman's University College of Nursing comprises three campuses located in Denton, Dallas, and Houston. We invite applications for a Faculty position at the TWU Institute of Health Sciences - Houston Center. The TWU Institute of Health Sciences - Houston Center is a top university located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. The Houston Center also offers advanced degrees in several health science programs. Texas Woman's University is the largest public university in the nation primarily for women, and has had a presence in Houston since 1960. On each campus, our distinguished Faculty are committed to excellence in teaching, practice, service, and scholarship. A successful applicant will have a focused area of research, clinical expertise, publications, and other scholarly activities. The preferred applicant will have demonstrated teaching experience at the Undergraduate or Graduate level. Requirements include the following:
An earned DNP or PhD in Nursing or a Research Doctorate in a related field is preferred, but not required. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications. The College of Nursing is fully accredited by the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CNE).
