Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Starting Wage: $19.75/hr

CSI is in need of a passionate Employment Placement Specialist for our Drapelick Center program located in Bloomfield, CT. The program is an adult residential facility that administers assessments, monitors clients' compliance with service plan goals, and involves clients in services that address their criminogenic tendencies. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Program Director in administrative matters and supports the program by managing the program's calendar and completing office management functions.

What You'll Do:



  • Provide overall administrative support to the staff of CSI's Lisa's House, including, but not limited to: incoming calls, receiving and responding to emails, faxes, incoming and outgoing mail, and electronic meeting scheduling.
  • Set up and maintain main office.
  • Set up and maintain files and ensure compliance with Agency policy regarding confidential information.
  • Computerize/input data and program and client information as received, and complete reports.
  • Assist with scheduling related to staffing, clients, activities, funder requests, and facilities work.
  • Participate in the administration, collection, data input, and reporting related to WAI surveys
  • Submit and update electronic documentation into CSI and CSSD data collection systems as required or requested
  • Research and compile information related to pricing of office supplies, printing, posting and office equipment
  • Maintain an inventory of office and program supplies, and order/receive as needed
  • Assist managers with weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting as assigned
  • Assist managers with various projects such as proposals, proposal writing, grant requests, and new initiatives
  • Provide coverage of front desk duties
  • Register for and attend all required trainings and refreshers
  • Serve as a role model to clients and staff by modeling pro-social behaviors
  • Maintain a working knowledge of, and abide by, CSI's programs, policies and procedures
  • Maintain and keep inventory of all keys
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.


Starting Salary: $19.75/hour

CSI is becoming a trauma-informed organization by hiring individuals with existing experience in trauma-informed practices as well as supporting ongoing staff development with trauma-informed practices. This will include learning to recognize symptoms of trauma and how to respond, through training starting at orientation and throughout their career at CSI. CSI is committed to systematically evaluating the integration of the trauma-informed values of safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, and empowerment at all levels of the organization's policies, procedures, and structures to guard against the possibility of re-traumatization.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors Degree plus one year of Administrative experience. Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Windows, and Outlook.
